Coming Soon: Credit Sense

Launching April 9, 2024

Credit Sense, powered by SavvyMoney, is available to all Opportunity Bank of Montana customers through both online and mobile banking platforms. This service is provided at no cost and is designed to enhance your understanding of your credit score by granting access to your complete credit report. Additionally, Credit Sense offers real-time credit monitoring alerts, adding an extra layer of credit protection. Furthermore, the solution includes valuable financial tips and educational resources to help you comprehend the components of your credit score and methods to enhance it.

CREDIT MONITORING

Credit Score also provides daily monitoring of your credit report. You'll receive email notifications if any significant changes are detected, such as a new inquiry, opening of a new account, changes in address or employment status, or the reporting of delinquency. This credit monitoring feature is crucial for helping you stay vigilant against identity theft.

CREDIT SCORE SIMULATOR

The score simulator is an interactive tool that enables you to choose different actions and observe how they might impact your credit score. Actions such as paying off a credit card balance can potentially cause your score to either increase or decrease. It's important to note that, similar to checking your credit score through Credit Sense, using the simulator will not have any effect on your actual credit score. This feature allows you to explore various scenarios and make informed decisions about managing your credit without impacting your credit score.

CREDIT GOALS

Credit Score Goals is a feature integrated into Credit Sense, aiming to assist you in reaching your credit objectives. This tool enables you to set your desired credit score goal along with the timeframe within which you aim to achieve it. Once you've established your goal, you can monitor your progress, adjust your goal if needed, receive tailored recommendations on enhancing your score, and receive updates upon reaching 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of your goal. This comprehensive tool empowers you to actively work towards improving and maintaining your credit score.

CREDIT SCORE ACTION PLAN

Credit Score Action Plan is a component integrated into Credit Sense, offering you a consolidated view of recommendations derived from our score analysis cards. This feature furnishes you with a personalized plan tailored to enhance your credit score, providing detailed insights into actions that can have the most significant impact on your score. By centralizing these recommendations on one screen, the Credit Score Action Plan empowers you with actionable steps to improve your credit score effectively.

FINANCIAL CHECKUP

Financial Checkup is a feature integrated into Credit Sense, aiming to provide you with a snapshot of your financial health. The results of Financial Checkup are derived from a quick assessment designed to foster a thorough comprehension of you present and future financial situation. The entire assessment typically takes 5-10 minutes to complete. Upon completing the assessment, you will receive your Financial Health Score, credit score, debt-to-income ratio, and spending ratio. Additionally, you will receive a monthly budget breakdown of how you are currently spending and personalized suggestions for improvements.
