The nomination phase for Distinctly Montana’s Best of Montana awards is now open. Each year, Distinctly Montana invites communities across the state to celebrate their favorite local businesses. Opportunity Bank of Montana is eligible for this year’s “Best Bank”, and nominations from Montanans like you help shape which businesses move forward to the next phase of the awards process.

For as long as he can remember, agriculture has been the thread running through every part of our Great Falls Market President Matt McKamey’s life — shaping his values, his work ethic, and the way he shows up for his community. Growing up on a diversified livestock operation south of Great Falls, Matt spent his childhood working alongside his family with cattle and sheep, building the foundation of resilience, stewardship, and responsibility that still guide him today. That same family operation continues into its fourth generation, and Matt remains actively involved whenever he can.

Opportunity Bank of Montana is honored to be nominated across multiple categories in the 2026 Best of Helena, Best of Butte, and Best of the Bitterroot awards. We invite community members to support Opportunity Bank by casting a vote per category per day from March 11 through March 29.
